The April 24, 2019, Municipal Services Commission (MSC) Community meeting was fairly well attended and citizens had great questions. Since the meeting the Water Department has had success gaining access to customers’ homes to insure the temporary water service would function. The project is expected to begin on June 10, 2019. The 6th Street intersection portion of the project will require road closures and DelDOT has indicated the work should be done over a weekend. The tentative schedule is for the weekend of June 22nd and 23rd pending DelDOT’s approval.
