MUNICIPAL SERVICES COMMISSION UTILIZES TYLER NOTIFY

Tyler Notify™ is a system connected to the Municipal Services Commission’s (MSC) Customer Service data base.  It is designed to allow local governments/utilities to send messages and interact with citizens via their telephone. The MSC can create and send customized messages related to utility service, emergency incidents or community events.

 

Over the past couple of months, MSC staff has been working to set the system up and test the functionality.  We have had success sending test messages and received some questions from citizens on the system.  When you receive a call from 302-323-2330, you may be required to confirm you are an MSC customer by saying yes or pressing one.  Please feel free to do so to receive the message.  We realize many people receive unwanted phone calls and may be concerned this is an invalid call.  If you are utilizing a mobile phone, it may be helpful to program 302-323-2330 in your phone as the MSC of City of New Castle so when it shows on your screen you will be able to identify us.

 

Now we need your help……we want to ensure we have the proper phone numbers for New Castle citizens so we can communicate with you when necessary.  If you have received a test message over the past couple of months then you are most likely set up properly. If you want the message to be sent to a different phone number or you did not receive a phone call please contact our Customer Service Department at 302-323-2330 to provide a correct phone number.
