Fire Hydrant Flushing
Date Posted: Tuesday, November 20th, 2018Municipal Services Commission 2018 Fall Hydrant Flushing Program The Municipal Services Commission Water Department will begin our Fall Fire Hydrant Flushing Program on Monday, November 26th. Flushing will begin at 7:30am and end at 3:00pm Monday through Friday taking approximately 10 business days to complete. Your understanding and cooperation during this process is appreciated. Date Posted: Tuesday, August 7th, 2018Due to warm temperatures and high energy demand, we are asking MSC customers to VOLUNTARILY reduce electric use today, Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Power Saver Hours are from 3pm to 6pm, with peak usage expected at 5pm. Customers are encouraged to lower their electric use during these high demand hours. This will lower electric use throughout your community and in return save you money. The more people that participate, the greater the effect. If the emergency is between the hours of 4:00pm to 7:30am, you will be prompted to leave a message. The message will go to the on-call operations personnel who will dispatch crews to address the issue. There will be an attempt to return your call and advise you of the status.
