The Municipal Services Commission (MSC) of the City of New Castle, in partnership with the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation (DEMEC), is excited to introduce an energy efficiency program to provide incentives and rebates for customers looking to lower their electric bills. In coordination with Efficiency Smart, the DEMEC Energy Efficiency Program features options to help residential and business customers find solutions that work best for them. Power Saver Hours are from 3pm to 6pm, with peak usage expected at 5pm. Customers are encouraged to lower their electric use during these high demand hours.
